What do you get when you take perfect weather, a gorgeous outdoor setting, stunning details and a bride and groom who were SO meant to spend their lives together??
Kimberly & Kevin’s wedding day.
Over 1700 linear feet of portofino lights hung over the guests and the bridal party under the endless Arizona sky capturing the intimacy of the moment. Kim & Kevin were married and it was time to celebrate.
Kim, you are stunning. Seriously, look at that smile and your sparkling eyes!
Nothing like a first look. I have never watched any of my bride and groom’s, ever. It is such an intimate moment shared by two people that no one can understand the feeling in their hearts. I almost feel by watching I take something away or at least I can not give anything more than what they are feeling in that moment.
These bridesmaids did a stellar job picking out their dresses. Personally, I would like to own each one!
You know what I love about this ceremony decor so much? It doesn’t compete with the desert. It enhances it’s surroundings. Kim & Kevin choose Wild Horse Pass because of the unique outdoor setting, how it was true Arizona. So when we designed the ceremony the florals needed to be striking yet fit the surroundings. And they did. That day as I set the ceremony I stood under this just looking at the florals. It was honestly so stunning. I wish you could have seen it. Honestly enchanting.
Escort cards in a cream to pink fade down a boxwood. Not to mention the flower box as a little extra!
Seriously Flora Bella, you guys are unreal. The florals on this night were off the charts. Amazing.
Just look at how the portofinos sparkle above where the guests sat. So romantic.
Once again Platinum Pro rocked it with their custom seemless dancefloor. Matching the logo on the invitation and the center of the entire outdoor wedding space, the circular dance floor was perfect.
Can we please talk about the bar and the centerpiece? Guests could order a drink from the bartendar at any side of the bar and the over-the-top centerpiece with smilax vine dripping down. It was STUNNING. Spot lights in a light blush pointed straight at it so as the sun went down the masterpiece was still in full view by the guests. We allowed the bar to be a focal of the night.
At the end of the night a smores bar and smores martinis passed through the guests while the fire pits raored and guests cuddled up. Chocolate, a yummy drink and the warm fire was the perfect night cap.
What an affair, right? It’s moments like writing this blog that I realize how much this job means to me. It was a perfect wedding and a perfect planning process. But what’s not perfect when you work with two gracious people who just want to be with their friends and family?? Nothing.
